Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team, focusing on delivering outstanding marketing solutions and results for our clients. The Head of Marketing will play a crucial role in understanding our clients’ needs and objectives, developing, and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that contribute to their success and the growth and reputation of Click Through Digital.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and marketing needs.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing solutions, including robust strategies in Paid Search, Social Media, Paid Social and SEO, tailored to each client’s requirements.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention by demonstrating measurable marketing results and insights drawn from comprehensive analytics.

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement a cohesive internal and client-facing marketing plan to increase both client and agency brand awareness and revenue.

Ensure all marketing strategies align with clients’ brand identities and objectives.

Marketing Management

Oversee the delivery of various marketing services to clients, with a particular focus on maximizing the impact of Google Ads, Social Media and SEO.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in Google’s tools and platforms, ensuring that client strategies remain innovative, compliant, and effective.

Utilise Google Analytics, SEMRush and Google Search Console to analyse and interpret client campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and growth.

Technical Expertise

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with;
SEMRush (or similar platform)
Google Ads
Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
Meta Business Suite
LinkedIn AdsCampaign Manager
Email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp (or similar)

Utilise advanced features and capabilities of these tools to enhance client campaign performance, provide valuable insights, and ensure accurate and insightful tracking and reporting.

Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team (currently made up of a Marketing Consultant, Marketing Executive, Marketing Intern, and occasional external talent).

Coordinate marketing projects from start to finish.


Report on marketing metrics and trends to all clients and our own senior management. Use of marketing reporting platforms would be advantageous.

Written and oral communication through various platforms from Zoom and teams to Slack and Google Workspace.


Proven experience in a similar role within a digital marketing agency, with a demonstrable record of success in managing and optimising digital campaigns.

Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with various marketing platforms and channels, including advanced capabilities in Google’s suite of tools and services.

Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance campaign performance and ROI.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
